Imagine Welcomes Overlook President Alan Lieber to Its Leadership Council

Imagine, a Center for Coping with Loss is pleased to announce Alan Lieber, President of Overlook Medical Center, part of Atlantic Health System, has joined the Imagine Leadership Council, comprised of business and community leaders, both locally and nationally, who are willing to serve as passionate advocates on behalf of grieving children and teens.

Imagine Childhood Trauma and Resilience Conference with Kean University

This conference will address the many issues children and families deal with when experiencing a trauma. Please join researchers and practitioners in the field for an invigorating, educational day.

On Wednesday, May 30, from Noon to 1 pm at The Academy of Clinical and Applied Psychoanalysis located at 301 S. Livingston Avenue in Livingston, a workshop on Loss, Grief, Mourning and Complicated Grief will be offered.

Imagine Room Named After Justin Pasquariello

On March 13th a room dedication was held at Imagine in honor and memory of Justin Pasquariello who died suddenly on July 27, 2015. Justin’s friends established The JustinTime Foundation in his name. Established in 2015 in memory of Justin, the Foundation strives to provide timely support for children/families who suffer an unexpected loss of a parent(s).

Self-Care for Caregivers

This is a free workshop for those caring for someone chronically or terminally ill. It will be held on Thursday, March 22nd at 6:30 PM. Learn some easy-to-use techniques to care for yourself and/or an ill person including breathing exercises, meditation, massage, and more.
